4th
Queens Council
August
9, 2008 - Claddagh Irish Pub

The
Victorian Bouquets hosted the 4th Queens Council at Claddagh Irish Pub for 35
area Queens! We had gift bags, played a couple of games, and gave out some
door prizes. Queen Sherry came all the way back from Pennsylvania just to
attend! We had a few new Queens attend the luncheon and it was so nice to
meet a new Queen from our home city Westerville. Claddagh Irish Pub did a
great job attending to us Queens and we highly recommend them to any Chapter for
an event.

3rd
Red Hat Society Greater Columbus
Area Queens Council
June
14, 2008
Queen Mum Carmela and Vice Queen Karen of the Crimson Crested
Buckeyes hosted the 3rd Red Hat Society Greater Columbus Area Queens Council at
the 94th Aero Squadron. When you arrive at the 94th Aero Squadron you feel
like you've gone back in time to the 1940's. Queen Mum Carmela had us each
draw a name of another Red Hat Queen to interview and introduce to the
crowd. Cween Carole drew my name, Queen Marilyn, and I drew her
name!!!! The meal was delicious and the whole day was
wonderful. Thank you Carmela and Karen.

3rd
Annual Columbus Area Red Hat Society Birthday Bash
April
24, 2008
Around 150, but who's really counting, Columbus
Area Red and Pink Hatters of the Red Hat Society gathered April 24th at
the Berwick Manor Restaurant and Party House to celebrate the 10th
anniversary of the Red Hat Society.
The lovely room was aglow with lots of glitz,
glamour, bling, and of course beautiful hats adorned with feathers, crowns,
bras, etc.
After dinner, we were entertained by a lovely
"Belly Dancer" who knew how to display and manipulate her
"wares"! Many of us looked on with "green eyes".
It was then time to impress the crowd with the
talents and imagination of some very brave Hatters in a loosely titled
"Style Show".
Can
you believe that these pictures are of the same Red Hatter???
As this Red Hatter was running out of steam,
those with more pep in their step began line dancing. Too much for
me!!! They were still at it as I gathered my goodie bag, my door
prize, and all the "stuff" I'd brought with me, along with
purchases from vendors and made my way home with wonderful memories of a
fun evening with new and old Red Hat Sisters.
