My birthday is in August and I love gladiolas, which are my flowers for August.  I am a Christian and very much live by example, my family comes first.  I am retired from Kroger's and snowbird to Texas with my husband of over 42 years Tom, who retired from Lucent.  We did not go this past October to Texas as we were blessed with a granddaughter in July.  She had a feeding tube put in and is downs but God continues to amaze us through this special child.  We are very proud of her and she is my baby. 

I love to camp and go see new places.  We have 2 grandsons we take on vacations in the summer. 

I am very blessed with many friends.  One special friend is Joyce who kept after me to go with her to her Red Hat events.  Am I ever glad I did!  What a lovely group of ladies we have and I enjoy all of you so much.
